Tried to return an Item I accidently…

Tried to return an Item I accidently purchased 2 of the same products but meant to purchase 1. Online I selected one but somehow 2 ended up in the cart and when I checked out it was too late when I noticed 2 where billed. When I tried to return one of the 2 items online the person that I chatted with (Jestine B from Customer service) refused to waive the restocking fee and they also charge a return processing fee for an Item that actual only cost $20 and is in its original packaging. She was Extremely unwilling to help and very condescending. Offered no empathy and felt like I was chatting with a robot. First- and last-time customer. I'm a contractor with commercial vehicles and would have been a great customer for a company like AutoAnything. Beware of the return policy because that's what they hit you with when you ask them to wiave the fees.

Horrible customer service and even worse return policy

Wrong part

Received a part that didn't match what I ordered. After about 10 emails over about 3 weeks, they decided to refund my money, minus 20% re-stock fee, and charging me for the return label. I finally contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. That resolved the problem. It seemed like all I got was a run-around trying to get it resolved. Poor customer service. Will never do business with them again.

The name should be Never Buy Anything

The name should be Never Buy Anything! My husband ordered some "custom fit" seat covers for my car. They did not fit. We were told to make pictures, several times, so it could be assessed by Auto Anything and the manufacturer. They do not offer any customer service. As a matter of fact there is no regard for the customer. What happened to. "Oh, we're sorry they didn't fit" or, "We are sorry,
We will gladly refund your money". NO, we can return the faulty seat covers, which also had a tear in the material upon opening the package! We are being penalized for something that is not our fault. After numerous phone calls, with a different customer service agent every time, we got the same song and dance. To add insult to injury, we are being charged a 20% restock fee. It is costing us over $65.00 for the restocking fee and I feel certain other "fees". Save yourself a lot of aggravation and frustration and DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Auto Anything. My husband has been a loyal customer for years - he will not be in the future!

“Low Price Guarantee” JOKE

This company claims to have the “lowest prices guaranteed.” I found way lower prices of everything I purchased and in stock on Amazon. Now, everyone knows Amazon is a major competitor and a legit website. This company used the excuse, “Amazon is a member based website, and therefore we will not honor their lower prices.” Absolutely hilarious if you ask me. I am not a prime member and have never signed up as a member for Amazon. I simply place orders from their website like I do yours. This company is a joke. I urge anyone wanting to order from them to price compare on Amazon. The prices are drastically lower on Amazon. The autoanything “price match guarantee” is not worth the paper it is written on.

Poor Customer Service re warranty

I purchased a Broadfeet Bull Bar from AutoAnything.com in 2017. The product was sold with a lifetime warranty. In 2022, one of the brackets completely cracked at the 90 degree bend. I called customer service in to ask about a replacement. Customer service told me to call the Broadfeet manufacturer directly. The Broadfeet manufacturer told me it is AutoAnything's responsibility and to call AutoAnything. I have called AutoAnything.com approximately 15 times but customer service repeatedly suggests I call the manufacturer. Neither of these companies will help. I have asked to speak with a manager at AutoAnything.com but no response. Finally, I have offered to pay for the part and still I cannot get any help replacing the item. I have been a steady customer at AutoAnything.com for a number of years. The one time I need them to honor what they sell, there's no willingness to help. -AutoAnything still carries the item on their site with the lifetime warranty!

Blaming manufacturers for their own faults

This company is an absolute joke. I called them to place an order on an item and I specifically asked to contact the manufacturer and make sure that the inventory is on hand and that they can send it out to me immediately. After being put on hold I was told to be reassured that the order was placed and the item would be shipped out at a certain date once that certain date passed I reached out again and was told some fake story about the manufacturer and never receiving my order and that they are working on it to get it to me as soon as possible the following day I receive an email stating that the manufacturer is sold out of this item and there is no inventory and now my shipping date is pushed out another month. Upon contacting the manufacturer directly turns out this was all some bogus lie but they made up and instead of being upfront with me and just canceling my order they chose to hold on to my money and make up stuff and blame manufacturers for the delay and lack of inventory even though that was not the case. I would never deal with this company every single person on staff makes up something to make you feel reassured but I guarantee you nothing will be done. First hand experience this is not the place you want to buy anything from. This is a screenshot of the email that they sent to me 3 weeks after my order was placed blaming the manufacturer yet this was all fabricated...

Because they are honestly that bad, they would've gone under within the first month of operation had their website not been so well-built.
